E-commerce portal is a web page which offers innovative e-services in the internet. One can sell such services and generate income. For example, e-commerce portals are: real estate and transport portals (auto24.ee, kv.ee, city24.ee), ticket selling systems (eurolines.ee, bussireisid.ee), online auctions (osta.ee, sbe.ee, ebay.de), job portals (cv.ee, hyppelaud.ee). Company works basically in the internet and its income is generated by selling a service, not only by selling advertising place. E-commerce portals are designed for high visitor rate and meant for wide audience (up to thousands visitors per day). Each e-commerce portal is unique and we point out only the main functions such portals can provide.
